I just want to thank you for a great tutorial. I'm a beginning birder, so the quick & easy approach is the one I usually do. But, I found the fanatical/professional level enlightening. Thank you for recommending the websites you use, especially xeno-canto. I'm terrible at recognizing different songs and calls. Xeno-canto should help. Please let me know when you put together more tutorials.

Wow! I just watched the videos and jotted down at least 7 ideas that I have never used or even known about. Count me in as an old dog who has definitely learned some new tricks! I will be accessing other tutorials in the School of Birding and hope that they will all be this useful.

I have always done lots of prep before I travel somewhere new for birding but I was never certain if I was getting the most out of my studying. Ken's seminar helped me to assess what I was doing and to make it more efficient. He also provided useful links that I was not aware of. I will definitely use his method whenever I am preparing for my next birding adventure!
